Default I made it thru phase 1

Hi
I made it and lost 11 pounds yah im now starting phase 2 all of you that are starting phase one stick with it. It gets easier. I cant say i didnt cheat once in awhile but i got back on track. I hope the best for all of you in this phase.
Will keep posted on updates with weight loss.

there is a (for lack of better words) debate in regards to adding both fruits and whole grains at the same time. i think its a personal choice. i added both and it didnt quite work well enough for me, i could cut back on both, however i decided to add fruits in for the next couple of weeks and see whats going on with my weight. i only have 10 pounds or so to go.

just go slow and add enough back to still lose some weight...

Even if you add both it should only be 1 serving of each. Or 1 serving of 1 or the other in week 1 and then 1 serving of each in week 2 (two servings of fruits/starches in total) and then add a second serving of one or the other in week 3 and so on. Avoid flour based whole grain products for your first starch to add back in, in favor of whole grains in their more whole format or a starchy veggie.
