Default Fell off the wagon .. HELP!!

Oh! I had been doing SO well. I started SBD in December, and met my goal by March!! (30 pounds in less than 3 months, I literally worked my butt off!!!!) I was keeping the weight off, and maintaining, and still allowing myself treats and everything was great! (went from a size 9 - 11 to a size 5 - 7)

.. then summer came. School ended. Camps started. Daughter had a birthday, and to make a long story short (full of excuses) I fell off the wagon, and lookie that - the weight is coming back! <<insert more crying here>>

I need to go back to Phase 1 and get myself back on track!!! But I am having such a HARD time this time around. I have the motivation but I seem to be stuck in the "Ok, starting Monday, I'm going back to phase 1!" Then always something happens, or it doesn't work out that way ..

Does anyone have any suggestions to get past this mental block? Any ideas on how to ease back into it? I can do it obviously, I have the willpower, but for some reason am having a hard time STARTING it again!!

You guys were such a GREAT help when I first started out, so I'm hoping you can help kick me into gear again!

Please help!!

I don't know that I have any suggestions outside of what you already know. Just make the decision and do it. I am sure that doesn't help much, but you know that without action, nothing will happen. When you get up tomorrow morning, leave today and the other "off the wagon" days behind you. Don't let your weight go up another pound. You can do this! Just set your mind to it and do it!

If P1 seems too daunting, then maybe try a phase 1.5. Keep a morning whole grain or a starchy veggie with dinner and/or a fruit during the day, but get rid of all the treats and crap foods and just tighten things up a bunch for a couple weeks and see how things are going at that point. After a couple weeks see if you think going to a full P1 is really necessary at that point or how another couple weeks of a P1.5 might work or if things are going well, then move to easing into a more full P2, but still trying to avoid the crap foods and "treats" so much. Often it's just those foods at the margin that really do us in over a period of time. Even getting back to a really clean P2 can start to turn the tide in the other direction if you are willing to be patient. Sometimes just making some small steps in the right direction can get you back on track over time. It doesn't always have to be the "big step" back to P1. You already know what works for you. Just do it!! Far better to do something NOW, than to continue to wait and have even more to work on later!
