| I agree with you. Losing weight slowly is advisable. I've been tracking my meal everyday ang i still grab some fries and cake (just a bite) every now and then just to lose my craving.it works for me. i am losing weight slowly. | ||||||||||

| i think it's great because it gives your body time to adjust. your body doesn't freak out as with sudden weight loss. i'm down 31.5 lbs and 3 pants sizes since march 4th. yay!!

| Wow Floatingleaf, that's so wonderful!!!!! Slow and steady wins the race, doesn't it?????:Clap: And the longer I stay on this plan, the longer I just want to eat this way, and don't even feel like I am on a diet. I really want this food, every day. I don't even look forward to eating out like I used to because I know I'm not going to get as good a quality food as I make at home, though I still go out to get the break from cooking!! This is MY way of eating for life now. That's for sure!!!!!!!!! I'm not even in a hurry to get to Phase 3, though it would be nice, because I am content eating what I am eating now! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | ||||||||||

| And something else I've noticed...eating whole grains makes you fuller, faster! I used to be able to munch, and munch and munch on crackers or wanted 2-4 waffles at breakfast, but now that I eat these things from whole grain sources, I find that I get full and satisfied on a much smaller amount! That I am sure contributes greatly to weight loss success!!!!!!!! So munch on and lose that weight slowly!!!!!!!!!!!:happy: | ||||||||||

| i know when i did atkins, i actually felt pretty deprived. then i switched to SB and was worried about how i'd lose weight with the increase in carbs. i'm still ecstatic about the foods i get to eat now. whole fruits, whole veggies, whole grains. it feels so healthy and natural. it's not even a diet to me. it's a plain old heart healthy eating plan. i cut the pre-packaged, processed foods and i feel so much better knowing exactly what i'm putting in my body and knowing it's so much healthier. this is the best thing i've ever done for myself and my body thanks me (as does the mirror!). yay for SB!
