| First of all, I think they're a bit pricey. I've tried all of the pizzas and I can't say I've got a favorite kind. I find them pretty good as frozen pizzas go. I'll have one with a salad and I'm happy. I just bought some more the other day and now they can be cooked in the microwave. Cool! I could do that at work for lunch once in awhile. I've tried the wheat crackers and I think they're alot like Wheat Thins. I've tried the cookies and I love them, especially the oatmeal ones! I have to watch myself with those because I could eat too many! I have a box of the chocolate cereal bars, but haven't tried one yet. Have you tried any of the products? What do you think? What's your favorite? | |||||||||||

| I actually tested them a few months ago for a bzzagent.com campaign. They sent me boxes of the meal replacement bars, snack bars, cereal and a coupon for a free South Beach frozen dinner. They were all pretty decent, but, yes, I'd say they are on the pricey side. The snack bars and meal replacement bars have a definite "soy" flavor and aftertaste to them. But they are high protein and quite filling. The frozen dinner was good, also, but smallish. And I think the price was like $3.59. I wouldn't pay that much, but for free I tried it! The one I tried was the meditteranean chicken & couscous meal. | |||||||||||

| Yesterday, I tried the Southwestern Chicken Wraps. I still believe the best way to go is to do your own cooking, but I had the opportunity to try these and I went for it. ????: South Beach Diet Forums http://www.southbeachdietbulletinboard.com/south-beach-diet-forums/81-anyone-tried-any-sb-products.html You get a package with 2 whole wheat tortillas and fixings (2% cheese, seasoned chicken strips, salsa) and a sf jello for dessert. I thought the tortillas looked pretty small, but I was surprised at how much they filled me up. I ate mine cold, but I think they would be better heated. I would probably buy these again in a pinch, if I had another coupon or if they were on sale. The calories were 250, the carbs were 26 grams with 15 grams of fiber. I think the price was $2.59 and I had a coupon for $.50 off. P.S. Inside the box was a coupon for $.50 to use when you purchase their whole wheat crackers or cookies. | |||||||||||

| I tried and love the SB Diet Italian Dressing. It's made by Kraft and reduced calorie but does NOT taste like a diet dressing. It has 60 calories per 2 tablespoons. I really, really like the taste. If I were not on any kind of diet I would still buy this dressing. I must add that I have never liked "low cal" or "diet foods", but this is awesome!! Good for all Phases too~!! | Thanks for posting that, Mindy. I haven't tried any of the dressings yet. I've been thinking that I should move away from the creamier dressings I've been use to. I'll give that one a try. | |||||||||||

| Let me know if you agree that it is really good tasting. On the other hand, they also make a balsalmic vinaigrette and that doesn't taste very good. I know a lot of people must agree with me because when I go to the store to buy the Italian dressing, there's always only one or two left and all of the balsalmic ones are still sitting there!:hide: | ||||||||||

| I will let you know, Mindy. I just wanted to post something from the SB diet site in regards to their products. Some people have been wondering if some of the ingrediants in the products go against the SB principles. This is their response to that question. Quote:

| While I like the salad dressing and will try some other products, I'm not happy with their granola bars. My DH bought them because the store was out of his usual brand by Kashi and these have sugar alcohols in them. Granted it's only 3gms (where most sugar alcohol products have much more), but is it really necessary to include those? Splenda is such a good tasting sugar substitute, I don't understand why they had to add sugar alcohols to this? | ||||||||||

| I just saw this at another website and I believe it came from the New York Times: Quote:
Well, I tried their products because I wanted to know what they tasted like ....... and I had coupons. But I still have to say that it's best to prepare and cook your own real, whole foods. They might do in a pinch every once in awhile, but they're no substitute for real home cooking. And I don't know of anyone who could afford to eat them very often. I think there are better, healthier cereals out there. And probably reduced fat Wheat Thins are just as good as the SB brand, not to mention cheaper. | |||||||||||

| I tried the Italian dressing for the first time today and I have to say I think it's the best Italian salad dressing I've ever had! Thanks for suggesting it, Mindy! | |||||||||||
