Hi everyone - Well this is my first time to ever post on a board - so here goes.

Well I started SB 6/17/08 at 270 pounds. OUCH. I am a mom of 2 girls (7&9) and 2 boys (6&4). I love my children and I love my husband!
I am very active in my Church, teaching children, choir etc..
I run a daycare center of about 160 children - I love it too.

I, as you can all see, have let my good life put pounds on me. I am unhappy with myself and would never dream of letting my weight embarras my children.

a little over a month later and I am down 19 pounds!! I am so excited and the good thing is that it has not been hard.

I have a loooooooooong way to go to my goal of 145 but I am down to 251 from 270 - it sure sounds good to me.

wow...your off to a great start my friend! Glad to see your post...keep us informed on how it's going...we'd all love to hear from you! If you ever need help, jump on here and ask for a pep talk!!! We are in this together...that's why everyone on here, is here...to help eachother. You seem to have a very full & busy life, but I advise any time you can find to check in here will help add motivation to reach your goal....It did for me...I was heavier than you at one point, so I've been there too!...just take it one pound at a time!...before you know it, you'll be where you want to be!
