| I began last friday, so yesterday I checked my weight and I'm down 9lbs! I did check mid week last week but from now on I'm going to try to just do weekly weighing... It has really been a pretty good week. After the first couple of days detoxing from sugar I've felt really great. a couple of nights ago, my family wanted spagetti for supper (not alowed p1) so I got a chicken breast out and used the sauce (pre meat added) and the diced tomatoes from the supper they were having and cooked it on my chicken and then added some slices of string cheese and a little parmesean cheese.. steamed some broccolli to go with it and it was better than any spagetti that I've ever had! the kids all wanted to try it and loved it, so I guess we have a new meal for the regular menu now that we all can enjoy and be healthier together... having this site has really been great, I am doing this alone, here, but all I have to do is drop in to this board and not only am i not alone, everyone here is so supportive! Thanks!

| There actually is a SB recipe that is similar to that, chicken capri I think it is called. don't remember it exactly, but basically brown chicken breasts on each side for 3 mins or so in a little olive oil and then move to a baking pan. (lined with alum foil for easier clean up if you like) Then spoon on spagetti sauce (no sugars in the ingredient list) to each breast, cover with a slice of part skim mozzarella cheese (or cheese first and sauce second?) and bake at 350 for another 20-30 mins or so until chicken is done. pretty good stuff and no one even thinks of it as "SB" or "diet" food! congrats on finishing week 1! always celebrate your successes!! Things will probably slow down from here, but remember, weight loss is neither linear, predictable nor comparable! It's always working even when the scale might not temporarily agree! | |||||||||||

| congrats on your 9lb loss...w2g !!!!!!!!!! isnt that chicken parm minus the bread crumbs? (good stuff) if your looking for a different flavor, try cooking your chicken in salsa....before sb I always had that over a bed of white rice....I have made it since but not really sure what would go good with it?? | ||||||||||
