Default starting on my tenth week

Just wanted to update I havent had a lot of time to post anything lately. After nine weeks I have lost 23lbs and I am very excited about it. I have noticed every third week of the month for the past two months for whatever reason skip a week of losing anything, although that irritates me at the time the next week is always back on track with losing. I just hope that it keeps going for me. I have never stuck to anything this long before. I do have to admit on my limited budget I am definatly getting a little bit tired of the same old foods. If anyone has any idea's on cheap EASY recipes let me know.

about every 3rd week of the month huh?....
????: South Beach Diet Forums http://www.southbeachdietbulletinboard.com/success-stories/2034-starting-my-tenth-week.html

let's see....you a female?.....I am...and I have the same problem...it seems to be the week before my 'monthly' visitor...then I'm right back on track...I hear ya...this is my 'after' week, so I'm expecting to see super results by Friday...lol

The quickest, cheapest thing I found to make is stir-fry. It helps use up any leftovers you have too....I buy the shredded cabbage (sold as coleslaw) and fry that in a pan w/a tiny spray of "good" oil...add what ever meat (if any) you like, and any veggies you like...can be eaten just like this once heated, or you can add things like a dash of lite soy sauce, (careful it's salty) or a dash of worshcestershire sauce...I never knew I like fried cabbage...until I started SB...I simply LOVE it!...great flavor! That is the cheapest, easiest thing I have found to make....please share others if you find them!

homemade chili? You can use the chicken tenders instead of the full breast meat if you are willing to cut out the center piece of gristle and chop it into small chunks or lean ground beef. It's also relatively easy to make, you can make in large quantities and freeze to nuke when you need something quick and just needs a small salad or other side veggie to make a complete SB meal. I've got a recipe I like with either all black beans or a mix of beans if you'd like me to post it. Most have their own favorite though.

I like that you measure your progress in weeks! Often a better measure than scale weight! keep going!!!

I love artichokes and they are great stir fried with chunks of fresh salmon, canola oil, and a little bit of panchetta /or a slice of bacon. Crisp up the bacon first...add the salmon and artichokes and simmer just a minute or 3 in low sodium chicken broth. YUUUUMY!!!

thanks for the new ideas! Going week by week is easier for my brain to accept rather. I get discouraged thinking about how long its actually gonna take to get to the weight I want. Small Steps!
