I think this could be considered a success story. Yesterday was my birthday, and I did great, I swam a lot.

When it was time to eat, my wonderful mother made a nice big salad, she made me a piece of chicken breast, marinaded in lemon and Worcestershire sauce, and some grilled veggies.

Than cake time came, I didn't have any but my mom did surprise me with chocolate covered strawberries (semisweet chocolate) I did go a little overboard, and had five instead of 2, BUT I DIDN'T HAVE CAKE.

So i think if i made it through my birthday, and bypassed the chips and dip and birthday cake its a huge success...

I also had 3 glasses of pinot nior (but i wanted a heineiken so bad!)

Also I'm down 9 lbs.

Always celebrate your successes!! And if it feels like a success to you then it probably is!! Can't imagine why the 5 strawbs would be a problem in P2, even chocolate covered. And nice that your Mom is on board and supporting you too!

That is wonderful that you made it so well through your birthday! Gives us all hope that we can bypass that piece of cake when we need to LOL!

Wow! That's awesome. Passing up cake on the birthday is a really big deal to me. Good job!
