| CONGRATS!! Already added some comments in your P3 forum post. As far as resetting goals, personally I'd just try P2/P3 on for size for a bit. Most people find they still continue to lose a bit over the first few months anyway. I think taking the scale watching out of the equation for a little bit is maybe a good idea. ??? But up to you!! | |||||||||||

| Thanks everyone...I do feel great!...more healthy than I've ever been. I decided to join up with the 8 week challenge thread...see what I can do before Christmas as far as passing my goal...hey, if I'm on a roll, why not get to where I think I should be...I've been telling myself I don't know if I should change my goal weight, but the truth is I do...I want to get about 20 lbs off I think...I would feel better about what's in the mirror anyhow...I feel thin and very self confident when out and about, (with clothes on) but the mirror throws me a different view point every morning, so...damn it...think I'm going to keep going for awhile and see where I can get. ????: South Beach Diet Forums http://www.southbeachdietbulletinboard.com/success-stories/2218-i-did.html tee hee...I started that 8 week challenge early on Monday...weighed in this morning and I'm down 2.2 pounds...(sshhhh)...don't tell anyone I got a head start...lol | |||||||||||

Thanks Everyone!! And to answer this question... I started SBD about 3 years ago...I weighed 282 pounds...I started and followed the diet right outta the book...to a "T"...I lost 100 pounds the first year I was on SBD...All I did was follow the diet...ate all day, six times a day...how cool is that...I didn't even add exercise that I can remember the first time around...well anyhow, after losing 100 pounds, I weighed about 180pounds and thought I was hot shit boy...lol.. Then I lost my head...went out to eat to celebrate...repeatedly...I went right back to the way I was eating and wow...holy crap...I somehow reached 232 pounds again...then last year, TOM sent me an e-mail telling me 'not to go off the diet for the holidays'...hell, I wasn't even on a diet anymore...and I had already gained 53 pounds back!!! OMG!!! I WAS SO OUT OF TOUCH...smack...what was I doing???? RE-GAING 100 POUNDS?...that will be fun....STUPID....well that just made me mad..and more determined than ever.... I restarted last year on Nov. 19th ...and I've lost 85 pounds in 12 months...normally a steady pace, but some weeks more than others... 1/4 of a pound this week, and 5 the next!...it truly is a yo-yo process, even if your still losing,...take every loss you can get and celebrate it!...they all add up in the end! Great to meet you all...if you need anything, I'm around! | |||||||||||
