| Well i finally did it phase 1 is over and today i started Phase 2. As of this morning my total weight lost for Phase 1 is 14 pounds. Even people i work with see the difference in me they said. Its nice when people who don't know your trying to loose weight come up to you and say "Hey are you loosing weight you look alot thinner than you did a few weeks ago" I love it!! NOw on to phase 2! | ||||||||||

| That is so wonderful! Congrats on moving into phase 2 and please keep us posted on how it works out for you. It's really great when people notice that you've lost weight. It's a little extra incentive for continuing. | |||||||||||

| And now you get even more variety in your food! Stay the course and you will be very happy to adapt this as your way of eating! The weightloss slows some after the first 2 weeks so don't think anything is wrong with that. It is your body adjusting. Some people even TEMPORARILY gain back a pound or two when they add the new foods, but this is TEMPORARY. It's a little water weight bump and it dissapears. You may not experience this at all, but if you do, no worries, just keep on doing what you're doing and it all works out! GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!! | ||||||||||

| Hi I just started SB and so far it is going pretty good. I have not had any cravings and this is my 4th day on it. I can tell my body is changing by retaining less water. I have been very thirsty the last couple days is that normal? I can not get enough water to drink by lunch time I have already drank 8 cups of water and im in the bathroom all the time. Last night I had a T of PB and then it just tasted so good to me so I probably ended up eating about 4 T of peanut butter all together I hope this doesn't stall my weight loss. I only want to loose a total of 10lbs, does anyone know if weight loss is slower if you only have a few pounds to loose? THanks. | ||||||||||

| It's absolutely slower if you have less to lose. But it sounds like your prior eating habits have had you retain a lot of water since you are so thirsty and flushing it out of your body so much. This means you need to drink this water and eventually you will not go to the bathroom so much. ????: South Beach Diet Forums http://www.southbeachdietbulletinboard.com/success-stories/357-end-phase-1-a.html Maybe you weren't drinking enough water before this WOE? I know I wasn't!! Be sure to make up for the fat overload yesterday by not letting that happen again today. So now you know that you have trouble with your portions with PB! You are not the only one. Many people say that about PB. maybe put the 2 TB in a little cup or bowl and put the jar away before you start eating it. Put it on a high shelf that would make you get on a chair to reach it and see if you can resist more. If not, I would strike it from the diet until you feel stronger about portion control. | ||||||||||
