| OK - EVERY woman knows how our pants fit tighter during TOM. Well this time I'm bloated as all heck and my pants are looser today!! And I made a bad choice because I wore my khaki's that are always tight around the hips and waist - not a good choice with cramps. But I'll be darned they are looser today. I can't wait till after TOM because I betcha the scale is going to make me:happy: And even if it shows the same #, something is definitely changing for the better with my body!!!!:joy: | ||||||||||

| A big congrats on the pants fitting....I can relate, I just pulled out a pair of capris from last year, (they were a hair snug last year...even if I didn't want to admit it) and this year they are baggy! YEAH I've only lost about 4 lbs so far, but my body is liking that!:happy: a big congrats | |||||||||||

| Thanks for noticing my centering! And I've taught myself to use the smilies sometimes too. I am just getting so high-tech! And Luv2 does centering and ms.d does colors. We are all having successes! :happy: Oh, and I totally believe you that your cramps are better. | Actually with the cramps I meant that tight pants weren't constricting me so they were better. Cramps overall have certainly improved after dumping my sugar load. Yes. As for what is working, for me it's just time in on the plan, making sure I am exercising hard and making sure I don't eat too much. And making sure I pay special attention to the reactions certain foods have with my body. For me, I can't eat bananas - they bloat me out and I stay up on the scale. I can't do sour cream either. Even with low fat, the cream stalls me so I stay away. Also, I am VERY short so I tend to stick to the 1200 calorie side of the 1200-1500 calorie range that the recommended portion sizes come out to. | I love it!! OK, that makes sense with the cramps. I was thinking about how, if the scale suddenly goes down after a long plateau, I feel so happy and high that anything negative just doesn't seem as big a deal. Including pain. I just notice how much my attitudes and thoughts affect how my life goes. (I don't give the scale as much power as I used to.) Great job adapting this woe to your own body!! ![]() | ||||||||||
