Holy where have I been batman!...my life is so full of activities now it is unbelieveable! I'm not sure what made me think to jump on here, but something clicked in my busy schedule today and here I am. Can you believe it!!???

My oldest is about to turn 14 now and my youngest turned 5 on wednesday...my oldest is wanting to 'lose weight' now...she weighed in at 180 the day school started...(8th grade)...wow...well, I told her all she had to do was decide to lose weight and tell me when she was ready and I would help her. I was not about to push her into watching her weight cause that didn't work for me as a child...(only made it worse)...so now she's told me she's ready and she's lost 10 pounds since school started! Amazing what can be accomplished if your determined...

I'm still holding my own as well, and November is coming up. My 'goal' was reached in Nov. going on a year now I think?...wow...time flies...and getting faster every day...

How are you all doing? How is everyone?

I think that is what really sets SB eating apart is that it both teaches you how to appropriately discriminate between healthy and unhealthy foods and habits and while it applies some level of structure, it is also very flexible and can adapt to a lot of different situations and tastes which makes it SUSTAINABLE over time. P3 doesn't really change much from P2, so as long as you have found a set of foods and habits that allow you to lose the weight to begin with, you only need to keep doing that to keep it off.

And congrats on a full year's beachiversary of maintenance Tiny T!! Keep on workin' it!!

And since you asked, I'm doing pretty well too. Finished up my yoga teacher training at the end of last year and have been teaching 2+ classes a week at a new health club that opened up near my house in May and enjoying spreading the yoga love and ju-ju!

Great news, Tiny! Both about you and that now you know how to support your daughter when she's ready. Thanks for checking in.

As for me, I'm hanging in there, taking it day by day. I've started doing (short) walks about 3 times a day. I think it helps keep the weight in control. Seems like it helps keep my metabolism up.
