Many low carbers are reluctant to switch to a new eating plan because they fear they will lose ground with their good blood work. Now that your blood pressure and cholesterol are wonderful you don't want to lose that!

Our experience on SB is that your bloodwork numbers continue to improve on this WOE! Seriously. Weight loss is the number one reason your blood pressure has improved on low carbing and weight loss continues on SB. And your cholesterol numbers will also improve over low carbing.
This is because if the diet is done right, you will gain more HDL (the good cholesterol) and drop more LDL (the bad cholesterol). This is because the addition of whole grains to your diet are rich in fiber and your fiber has been lower on a low carb plan so this acts as a partner to your blood chemistry and makes the HDL particles bigger -- which is what you want.
Triglycerides will remain low on this plan too. Sure enemies of tryglicerides are trans fats and High Fructose Corn Syrup. You didn't have the HFCS on low carbing but on SB you'll avoid trans fats as well and we don't consume products with HFCS.
So you can make a very healthy transition!
