| My weigh in today - 142.2, that's 7.8 lbs and 2" off my waist. I know it may not be a lot in some people's eyes, but it's fine with me. Slow and steady, never to return again!:joy: That's me doing my happy dance. I feel so much better, my tight 14's (should have been wearing 16s) are loose fitting 14s and I've had to give away most of my skirts. I also have so much energy! | My weight today is 140.8 and TOM's here. I have so much energy, which I normally don't at this time of month. My house is more organized than usual - I had a party last week and didn't even have to clean for it. That's never happened before. While everyone else was having banana-whipped cream cake, I enjoyed a sugar free vanilla pudding and banana parfait with redi-whip and I didn't even crave the cake. | I took the attitude that Thanksgiving is only one day and that one day didn't make me fat - it was how I ate the other 365 days. So I enjoyed Thanksgiving from morning to night as usual, except my appetite isn't as big as it used to be, and I am now able to distinguish when I am satisfied, so I didn't eat just because there was food in front of me. Yes, I had three pieces of pumpkin pie through out the day (not in one sitting), I ate the spinach dip, and the cranberry bread and the pumpkin bread, both with real cream cheese. I had a bit of stuffing and sweet potatoes with brown sugar. I ate the cranberry sauce with real sugar. I lost 1 pound this week. This is a way of life, and it is a way of life that everyone overeats on Thanksgiving. The next day I was back on South Beach. I feel great. | Thanks for the encouragement! My Saturday weigh-in for 12/2 was 136, and it was day 2 of TOM, so I'm really happy! My husband and I are redecorating a room and I spent all day stripping wallpaper and patching holes in the drywall in addition to the usual cramps. My husband volunteered to run out for a pizza for dinner, but I was able to say no, and fix a SB friendly dinner. The added energy is definately a boast. I put on my winter dress coat this morning for church (first time I've needed it here in what was balmy New Jersey) and it was huge, like I was wearing someone else's coat. That is a great feeling, better than a slice of pizza. Debbie 150/136/120 | ||||||||||

| My weight Saturday was 133.6!:OMG: I am so happy. Didn't have time to post this weekend with the trip to the tree farm to cut our Christmas tree and then the next day spent in the city. I did have a few slices of Neopolitan pizza yesterday and quite frankly, it wasn't all that good. Where is that whole grain goodness? Certainly not in white flour! This weekend is the first weekend that everyone is commenting on my looking thinner. That is such an incentive! Good luck to everyone else!
