| I posted an introduction last week but today is day 1 for me and I have weighed, measured and calculated. This is where I am starting... Weight - 13st 6.5lbs (188.5lbs) Body fat - 43% BMI - 35.04 Waist:hip ratio - 0.94 I am looking forward to seeing those numbers lower next week! Michelle xx | ||||||||||

| hi i'm kathy we are pretty close to the same weight ---i started south beach in the end of may june---lost like 13 pds this summer started out at 194.5 but i think i weight about 183 now---am in gown i just started back today and started gym this week. so maybe we can encourage each other also read tiny t's blogs she is abs. amazing! remember the foods that we are not supposed to eat only taste good for just that moment and then they're gone and only start cravings again---so trust me it's not worth it---if i had hung in there i could have easily been down another 13 pds. i wasted alot of time so now is the time to start again fresh having to record all my food in my blog really makes me aware of what all i was eating by the way i dropped about 10 pds in a little over 10 days before i went to fl---so this works welcome!! | ||||||||||

| you will be amazed at how fast you can retrain yourself to make the healthy choices. Remember to keep lots of vegies lean meat, cheese makes a handy snack so do the chickpeas all you have to do is season and bake they are great. Nuts can be a good choice as well. ![]() | ||||||||||

| I sort of disappeared because I found a busier forum which I find suits me better. But anyway... The first week went really well and for me is the first time ever I think that I actually really, truly want to lose weight AND believe I can do it. I stuck completly to p1 and managed to get exercise in by doing more walking. It was more than worth it at the end of week 1 because I feel much better and when I weighed etc on Monday I was... Weight - 13st 0lbs - loss of 6.5lbs Body fat - 41% - loss of 2% BMI - 33.83 - down from cat 2 obesity to cat 1. Waist:hip ratio - 0.89 - loss of 0.05 Michelle | ||||||||||
